FEATURE PROJECT - LARGE EXTENSION
Mr & Mrs McMahon - Kimberley, Northfield Road, Tetbury
Mr & Mrs McMahon were looking for the perfect home for their family, they found Kimberley in Northfield Road. Originally a 4 bedroom house with a traditional layout, it was OK but not quite right for their growing modern family life.
SJS were invited to tender a quote from a recommendation that the McMahon's had received and luckily for all of us we won.
They were looking for a significant increase to the size of the property with a two storey extension to the rear of the property, that increased the number of bedrooms but also increased the space downstairs and created a contemporary open plan zoned space
SJS' top team immediately got to grips removing all the unwanted features of the original house and laying the foundations for the new extension

Using high quality materials and finely tuned building skills, acquired over a combined 90 years of experience, SJS put together a beautiful home for the McMahon's.
It wasn't all plain sailing - as the project progressed Richard and Sara realised a number of changes that they needed to make to ensure the house became their dream home - all of these changes were met with understanding, advise and an enthusiasm that made the whole process as painless as possible.

This is what 'Building WIth Care' means to SJS - we understood that this is not just another building, but the McMahon's family home that their children would grow up in and that would need to provide them with the most comfortable environment for years to come, and that designing this would be an evolution through the building process and not just a simple set of plans to follow.
Throughout the process SJS helped and advised on various aspects of the build - to make better use of space, to save money, to improve the environment, and to make sure that the McMahon's were happy - but did we succeed?

"This was our first build and with 3 kids to look after I was really pleased with how simple SJS made the project and how good the result was. When we finished (early) we had everyone back for drinks on our new patio. All of the kids miss the diggers".
